Dear diary,
As well as my blogs on food, crafts, travelling and whatever else I decide to show you, I thought id also keep an online diary for all you nosey wosey people out there that fancy checking up on my life.
I've always kept a diary, ever since I was little, but this is my first one not on solid real hard paper!! And also the first one that potentially, anyone and everyone in the world can read...
I really hope I don't bore you too much! Or type anything too cringey on here. D:
So then, today I:
Got up a little later than usual... I was strangley awoken by my little sister with a cup of tea AND toast! Still had time to blow dry my newly cut hair though! I have a fringe now :O Scary. Anywho, got into work and frantically attempted to prepare for today's RWI lesson (I LOVE teaching that course) before the bell went. I made it through until 3rd lesson, when I usually take my lunch, and hectically produced some planning for my first ever whole class lesson! Lunch over, I took a big gulp and taught a class full of 30 french (in preparation for this HLTA course) - easy peasy... And who would have guessed it actually went pretty well?! Fast forward to home-time, blog for a bit, and get ready for my weekly Spanish lessons. Only 3 more weeks left :( I love learning languages so much, we focused on the future and past tenses today. I'll try and make a sentence ...
'Mañana mi novio y yo saldremos a comer. Hace doz semanas fuimos a Nottingham. Me gustó mucho'
Hey that doesn't look too bad eh? Probably makes no sense!
So pretty much an average day, whilst typing away I'm currently sipping on a glass of red. Yumm.
I'll say goodnight now, Good Night! :) xx
Highlight of the day: When a child in my RWI group said 'Miss, your lesson is the only fun lesson. All the others are boring'
I'm a 21 year old, half English/German girl, that loves to create, learn and teach you all that I know! :)

- Children start school and leave school earlier than us in England (8am-2pm).
- 'Bigos' is one of the most traditional meals served here. It's a big cabbage and meat stew, sometimes served in stale bread.

- Hot chocolate isn't as runny as English! It's similar to thick cacao!

Kraków - Poland :)
Hello World!

So recently in the spring half term me, my mother, sister and a neighbor of ours decided to visit Kraków in Poland. We only were in the city for 3 days, but I loved every second of it and would definitely urge anyone that hasn't been to GO NOW! I can't wait to return already :)
We stayed at a place called 'cracowdays', a lovely little independent hostel-style set of apartments, where we had massive rooms with en-suit, a communal kitchen, Apple Mac for anyone's use and the best continental breakfast I've ever had.

I'd also like to commend the airline we flew with, as (if i'm honest) I didn't really rate Ryanair before ... And they proved me wrong! Early, quick, smooth and cheaply cheerful flights. You can even get chips on the plane now! I've just checked for flights now back to Kraków and they're only £41.99 from B'ham!!! We actually flew from East Midlands this time, which was another new experience, but not a bad and surprisingly big airport.
Some lovely earrings I bought at their Easter Market for only £2/10 złoty
Polish vodka with raspberry flavouring! Mmmm! And only 3 złoty! So cheap and yummy!
This building is called St. Mary's Basilica, located in the main square. There is a story that two brothers were in competition with each other to build the highest tower. The brother that succeeded was killed out of jealousy by the other brother. He later committed suicide by jumping off the top of this building out of guilt. The inside of this church however was so beautiful.
At one holy building we saw, there was a chance to taste the holy water. It smelt disgusting! And didn't taste any better! But I did it, and it's meant to be very good for you? Below is a picture of the street where Pope John Paul Second lived when he was archbishop in Kraków. There is a really nice Ukrainian restaurant also on this street and the cutest hidey-hole of a bookshop :)
