Review #10 - Pundits (Upton-upon-Severn)

Ok, so, another outing with the boyfriend! This time, we ventured all the way (actually not that far away) to ... Upton upon Severn! We drove up for the day because there just so happened to be a folk festival on which was laverly! There were Morris dancers everywhere and random acts of violinists or singers or belly dancers! It was such a lively atmosphere and as we walked down the streets moseying at the flee markets and millions of antique shops in the town, we spotted which seemed to be quite an intriguing Banglideshi... 

It's name was Pundits and when we rolled up at around 7pm it expectantly looked quite packed. :( To our surprise the accommodating and very friendly staff found us a table in their beautiful outside garden-like area. But, as always, I have to be awkward and wearing only a skimpy dress that day I began to get very chilly in the evening's cool breeze. We ordered drinks (wine and rice beer!! <-- how cool?) and asked whether we could possibly have another table inside. Now, considering how blooming busy they were I was shocked on how simply they promised us one with only a small wait. AND to top it off, came out a few minutes later with a blanket for me! How thoughtful. When we soon sat down to a warmer table we were accompanied by a table of about 15 ladies all in fancy dress, appearing to be from a drama company as they all started to sing! Some people would have hated this, I get it, but for me, this was brilliant! It really made my night for me! Great fun, haha.

Anywho, the food fusions they offered here were weirdly sooo tasty and they really had a good set up of this place. The staff were more than happy to help, the cooks knew what ingredients went together well and how to speedily cook a gorgeous curry, and the actual building was so quaint and cosey you felt just at home.
